KonoSuba Officially Confirms Season 4 During 10th Anniversary Event

One of the most beloved comedy anime of all time, KonoSuba – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!, is officially returning with Season 4.

The announcement was made during the franchise’s 10th Anniversary Livestream, confirming that the previously teased sequel is indeed a full fourth television anime season. To celebrate the milestone, the staff also unveiled a brand-new anniversary visual and announced a wave of new projects, including a mobile and PC game, an exhibition, audio drama content, and a commemorative song box set.

Original light novel author Natsume Akatsuki is personally supervising the upcoming game project, while illustrator Kurone Mishima is also involved. The game is scheduled to launch later this year.

A major 10th anniversary event will take place on July 26 at PACIFICO Yokohama, featuring core cast members Jun Fukushima, Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, and Ai Kayano, alongside theme song performer Machico.

Additionally, an exhibition will be held at Akihabara UDX this fall, and an exclusive audio drama written by Akatsuki himself will debut on YouTube this winter. The anniversary song box set is scheduled to release on March 18.

Bushiroad Launches ZERO RISE Basketball Project With Anime and Stage Play

Bushiroad revealed its new cross-media project titled ZERO RISE, combining a TV anime and a stage play under one shared universe.

The announcement was made during the Cardfight!! Vanguard 15th Anniversary event. The stage play will run from May 2 to May 17 at Tokyo’s Hikōsen Theater, while the anime will feature the same cast members voicing their characters on screen.

The project focuses on basketball-themed storytelling with distinct teams such as UNFIXX, KINGS+HOOT, RumbleWing[s], and BLACKSPOT, each featuring its own cast lineup. The dual-format approach highlights Bushiroad’s continued push into multimedia storytelling beyond traditional anime.

Kenjirō Tsuda and Shinichirō Miki Join Scum of the Brave Anime

The dark fantasy anime Scum of the Brave revealed two powerful casting additions:
Kenjirō Tsuda as the demon lord Amber Thorn, and Shinichirō Miki in a yet-to-be-disclosed role.

The anime premiered in January and is airing for two continuous cours without breaks. It explores morally complex themes involving crime, power, and corruption within a fantasy setting. The series streams on Crunchyroll as it airs, following early availability on dAnime and Hulu in Japan.

The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King Reveals New Cast, Theme Songs & April Premiere

Kadokawa released the second main promotional video for The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King, confirming its April 9 premiere date.

The anime revealed 10 additional cast members, along with its theme songs—“Beautiful” by Mayu Maeshima as the opening, and “Shiru Beki Koto” by sajou no hana as the ending.
