1. Overgeared Webtoon Gets TV Anime Adaptation This October
One of the most popular Korean webtoons is finally getting its anime adaptation.
South Korean webtoon studio REDICE Studio officially announced that its hit series Overgeared will receive a television anime adaptation titled Tempal: Item no Chikara (Tempal ~The Power of Items~).
The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2026.

With the growing success of Korean webtoon adaptations, many fans are eager to see whether Overgeared can become the next big hit.

2. Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Finally Gets Release Date
Great news for isekai fans!
The official website for Skeleton Knight in Another World announced that the anime’s second season will premiere on July 4.
The new season will first air on the AT-X channel and simultaneously stream on d Anime Store and ABEMA. A rebroadcast of the first episode is scheduled for July 6, while additional broadcasts will begin on Tokyo MX and BS11 starting July 9.
The first season introduced viewers to Arc, a gamer who wakes up in another world trapped inside the body of his skeleton avatar. Despite his intimidating appearance, Arc uses his overwhelming abilities to help those in need while becoming involved in major conflicts across the fantasy world.
The anime gained a loyal fanbase thanks to its mix of action, comedy, and fantasy adventure. Fans have been waiting years for a continuation, making this one of the most exciting sequel announcements of the summer season.
3. You, Fireworks, and Our Promise Anime Film Reveals New Cast Members
The upcoming anime film You, Fireworks, and Our Promise has announced three additional cast members.
Members of the idol group AVAM will be joining the project:
- Nanami Saiki
- Hanaka Kikyo
- Yuka Himemiya
The three idols will voice classmates of the protagonist, Makoto Natsume.

The film is based on Kaori Mado’s novel series and tells a touching coming-of-age romance story set during the famous Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks Show, one of Japan’s largest annual fireworks festivals.

Their lives become connected through a mysterious drawing of a fireworks display, leading them on an emotional journey where they must confront fate and make life-changing decisions.

4. Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers Unveils Second Cour Details
Fans of classic anime franchises have another reason to be excited.
The staff behind Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers, the sequel anime to the legendary Yoroiden Samurai Troopers series, released a brand-new promotional video revealing details about the anime’s second cour.
The second part of the anime will premiere on July 7.
