Mika Pikazo’s Original Project Re Robotica Gets Anime Adaptation

Amuse Creative Studio has officially announced a new anime based on illustrator Mika Pikazo’s original project, Re Robotica.

More information and the anime’s first teaser will be revealed during Anime Expo on July 4, 2026. In addition to the presentation, the project will also have its own booth at the event.

The anime is being developed as an original mixed-media project, although story details have not yet been revealed.

Fool Night Manga Gets Anime Adaptation

Netflix announced during its Anime Studio Focus panel at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival that studios Sunrise and SHAFT are collaborating on the anime adaptation of Yasuda Kasumi’s manga, Fool Night.

The anime is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix in 2026.

The companies also revealed a teaser trailer, cast members, and staff information.

Sakamoto Days Season 2 Reveals New Teaser, Cast, and Staff

Netflix has released a brand-new teaser trailer for Sakamoto Days Season 2 and announced several new cast and staff members.

Staff Update

Daisuke Najima, who directed Episode 22 of Sakamoto Days, will serve as the new director for Season 2. Meanwhile, Season 1 director Masaki Watanabe will return as supervising director.

The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.

Netflix also revealed a new visual for the upcoming season.

The One Piece Remake Reveals First Episode Artwork

The official X (formerly Twitter) account for The One Piece, WIT Studio’s remake of the legendary anime for Netflix, unveiled new artwork from the first episode, titled “Romance Dawn,” during Netflix’s Anime Studio Focus panel at Annecy.

Netflix also confirmed that the first season will consist of seven episodes and will premiere worldwide in February 2027.

The seven episodes will adapt approximately the first 50 chapters of Eiichiro Oda’s manga and will have a total runtime of around 300 minutes.

Although fans still have some time to wait, the newly released artwork has only increased excitement for this highly anticipated remake.


Golden Kamuy Live-Action Film Arrives on Netflix in July

Netflix announced that it will stream Golden Kamuy: The Abashiri Prison Raid, the second live-action film based on Satoru Noda’s Golden Kamuy manga, on July 13.

The company also released an English-subtitled trailer.

The first live-action adaptation received positive reactions from both anime and manga fans, and expectations are once again high for the sequel.


The World If Dancing Anime Reveals Final Trailer, Ending Theme, and Cast

Shochiku revealed the final trailer, ending theme song, and additional cast information for the upcoming anime The World If Dancing.

The ending theme song, titled “Unnamed Flower,” will be performed by the three-piece band Hockrockb.

The staff of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, the fourth and final part of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime, unveiled the new main visual, theme song artists, and premiere information on Sunday.
