The television anime adaptation of Yura Urushibara’s Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise is officially continuing with a sequel arc titled Tougen Anki: Nikko Kegon Falls Arc. The announcement was made by distribution company REMOW, alongside an English-subtitled teaser trailer and a new visual featuring Hayate Todoroki.

The first season of the anime concluded with its 24th episode on Friday. Tougen Anki originally premiered on July 11, with the “Nerima Arc” beginning in October. The sequel confirms that the series will continue adapting the manga’s story without a long break, which is welcome news for fans.

Internationally, the anime streams across a wide range of platforms including Crunchyroll, Netflix, Prime Video, bilibili, iQIYI, Laftel, and several regional streaming services across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

The sixth anime series based on Yasuhisa Hara’s long-running historical manga Kingdom has officially been confirmed to receive a sequel. The announcement came immediately after the sixth season’s final episode aired on NHK General.

Season six premiered on October 4 and focused heavily on the intense battle between the Qin and Zhao states. The story follows Xin as he takes up Wang Yi’s spear and charges into the battlefield, marking a major turning point in his growth as a general.

No release window has been announced yet, but the sequel confirmation ensures the continuation of one of anime’s most respected war epics.

Dark Moon: The Blood Altar Anime Reveals New Cast and Theme Songs

The anime adaptation of HYBE and ENHYPEN’s webtoon Dark Moon: The Blood Altar unveiled a full promotional video, a second key visual, and additional cast members.

The opening theme song “One In A Billion (Japanese Ver.)” and ending theme songs “CRIMINAL LOVE” and “Fatal Trouble” are all performed by ENHYPEN, strengthening the project’s strong music identity.

Newly announced cast members include Taihi Kimura, Hayato Dojima, Shōhei Komatsu, and Shōya Chiba. The 12-episode series will release on Blu-ray and DVD in four volumes starting April 29.

The anime premieres on January 9 and will stream internationally on Crunchyroll.

The historical action anime Oedo Fire Slayer – The Legend of Phoenix revealed its second full promotional video, confirming the opening theme song “Hamidashi Gomen” by rock band Porno Graffitti.

The anime is based on Hikuidori (Fire Eater), the first volume of Shōgo Imamura’s historical novel series. It premieres on January 11 across CBC, TBS, and 26 additional channels in Japan, airing in the “Agaru Anime” programming block.

An advance screening of the first two episodes will take place on January 8 in Tokyo, with cast members attending.

Kyoto Animation confirmed that Masaoki Shindō’s popular manga RuriDragon is officially getting a television anime adaptation. The announcement coincided with the main character Ruri’s birthday on December 28.

While a broadcast date has not yet been announced, the reveal alone generated massive excitement, as this marks Kyoto Animation’s first new manga adaptation announcement in some time.

The manga follows a laid-back half-dragon girl navigating daily life, blending slice-of-life comedy with supernatural elements.
