1. One Piece Takes Over the Sphere!
Big news for all the One Piece fans out there!
To celebrate the anime’s 25th anniversary, One Piece is set to appear on the Sphere in Las Vegas, the world’s largest LED screen. From June 10 to June 16, fans will have the opportunity to witness the Straw Hat Pirates on one of the most impressive displays ever created.
This is a historic moment because One Piece will become the first anime franchise ever showcased on the Sphere. It’s another example of how far anime has come over the years and how mainstream it has become around the world.
Genshin Impact’s Stunning Animation Continues
Even though Genshin Impact is primarily known as a game, many anime fans continue to be amazed by its animation quality.
Honestly, if someone showed me one of its trailers without context, I might have thought it was an anime series. HoYoverse continues to release beautifully animated shorts, and their latest project, Road Not Taken, is another visual masterpiece.
The animation, character designs, and overall presentation once again prove why Genshin Impact has one of the most visually impressive worlds in gaming.
3. My Hero Academia Movie “You’re Next” Production Complete!
Great news for all My Hero Academia fans!
The upcoming movie, My Hero Academia: You’re Next, has officially completed production. The film will have a runtime of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes and is scheduled to premiere in Japan on August 2, 2024.
With the series continuing to be one of the most popular shounen franchises in the world, expectations for the movie are incredibly high. Fans can expect plenty of action, emotional moments, and some Plus Ultra excitement on the big screen.
4. Oshi no Ko Season 2 Is Almost Here!
One of the most anticipated anime returns is finally around the corner.
After the massive success of its first season, Oshi no Ko quickly became one of the most talked-about anime series in recent years. Many fans, including myself, have been eagerly waiting for the next chapter of the story.
The good news is that Oshi no Ko Season 2 is scheduled to begin airing on July 3, 2024.

5. Mashle Season 3 Officially Announced!
Good news for all fans of Mash Burnedead!
Following the success of the first two seasons, Mashle: Magic and Muscles has officially been renewed for a third season.
Although an official release date has not been announced yet, the confirmation alone is enough to get fans excited. With its unique mix of comedy, action, and overpowered muscle-powered battles, Mashle has become one of the most entertaining anime in recent years.
6. Sakamoto Days Manga Gets Anime Adaptation
One of the most popular action-comedy manga series is finally receiving an anime adaptation.
Sakamoto Days will be animated by TMS Entertainment and is scheduled to premiere in January 2025.
The manga has built a massive fanbase thanks to its combination of hilarious comedy, creative action scenes, and lovable characters. Many manga readers have been waiting years for this announcement, and now it’s finally happening.
We’re still waiting for a more specific release date, but January 2025 isn’t too far away.
