01. Shin-chan’s Dad Gets TV Anime

TV Asahi announced this Wednesday that it is producing a television anime adaptation of Yoichi Tsukahara’s Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi No Ryugi (The Style of Hiroshi Nohara’s Lunch) spin-off manga of Crayon Shin-chan.

The anime will premiere on BS Asahi in October. Toshiyuki Morikawa reprises his role from the Crayon Shin-chan anime as Hiroshi Nohara.

This spin-off manga focuses on Hiroshi Nohara, Shin-chan’s father and the head of the Nohara family. As a 35-year-old salaryman, he has limited time and money to spend on food, which shapes his choice of lunchtime. Throughout the manga, Hiroshi describes the food, delivers food trivia, and gripes about workplace woes, such as buying food for his seniors, sudden workloads shortening his lunch break, and hated bosses.

The anime will run on Fridays at 11:00 p.m. JST.

02. Black Torch Manga Gets TV Anime

At Emerald City Comic Con on Saturday during its panel, Viz Media announced that Tsuyoshi Takaki’s Black Torch manga is receiving an anime adaptation soon.

Story of manga :-

Jiro Azuma is descended from a long line of shinobi, and he also can talk to animals. Although he may appear rough and tumble, his compassionate side emerges when it comes to furry critters. But Jiro’s soft spot for animals gets him in major trouble when a suspicious stray cat fuses with him, granting him exceptional power but also dragging him into humanity’s hidden battle against powerful, menacing spirits.

03. Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~ Anime Ends and New Series Announced

The official X account for the anime of Shigenobu Matsumoto and Yo Kanebayashi’s manga Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~ finished with its fourth and final episodes aired on February 28. They also revealed a new manga and anime series titled Duel Masters LOST ~Bokyaku no Taiyo~.

The new manga will launch on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website this spring.

04. GKIDS Screens Princess Mononoke Film’s 4K Restoration in North America on March 26

GKIDS announced on Tuesday that it is bringing a 4K resolution of one of the best Studio Ghibli movies, Princess Mononoke, exclusively to IMAX theaters in North America beginning on March 26 to celebrate the studio’s 40th anniversary.

The movie will be available with Japanese audio and English subtitles, as well as with the English dub.

05. Solo Leveling Ranks #7 and My Hero Academia Manga Ranks #14 on NYT March Bestseller List

Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga ranked on The New York Times’ monthly graphic books and manga bestseller list in early March.

The 40th volume of My Hero Academia ranked at #14, and the 11th volume of Chugong and Dubu’s Solo Leveling Korean webcomic ranked at #7. The 17th volume of Chainsaw Man ranked at #4 in February and #6 in March.

The New York Times posted its first updated graphic books and manga bestseller list in October 2019, and it is one category of the newspaper’s current bestseller lists.

06. New Doraemon Film Opens at #1 in Japan

Eiga Doraemon: Nobita No Esekai Monogatari, the 44th movie in the Doraemon franchise, ranked at #1 at the Japanese box office in its opening weekend. The movie sold 571,000 tickets for 702,817,200 yen (about US $4.78 million) in its first three days.

The movie opened in Japan last Friday.

07. Fermat no Ryori TV Anime Teaser Announces July Premiere

The staff for the television anime Fermat no Ryori manga posted a new teaser promotional video and teaser visual for the anime on Tuesday. The video reveals that this anime is going to air in July and it will air on TV Asahi in Japan.

Here are the anime’s main characters:

The manga centers on Gaku Kitada, a talented mathematics scholar, and Kai Asakura, a young but similarly talented chef. After Gaku suffers a setback to his dreams of becoming a mathematician, he meets Kai as he is running his own food business, and joins Kai in an attempt at something new.

A live-action adaptation of this manga debuted in October 2023. Author Kobayashi launched this manga in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine in September 2018. Kodansha published the manga’s fourth volume on September 28, and the manga has 23 million copies in circulation.

This is not the first manga that Kobayashi has worked on; he also launched the Aoashi manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comics Spirits in January 2015.

08. All New One Piece Anime Is Going to Air on Crunchyroll Simultaneously on April 6

ood news for all the One Piece fans: One Piece’s new episodes are going to air on Crunchyroll simultaneously on April 6, when it resumes the Egghead Arc on April 6 in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Latin America.

After a 6-month break, One Piece anime is going to air its new episodes in Japan from April 6 on Sunday at 11:15 PM on Fuji TV and its affiliates. Currently, One Piece remakes anime episodes from the One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island saga, a 21-episode series, is airing.

One major change One Piece anime fans are going to face is that in the subbed version, Subaru Kimura will be the new voice of Franky.
