01. Google Honors Naruto for Its 25th Anniversary
As we know, Naruto ended on December 6, 2014, but it remains an incredibly popular series. One of the main reasons for its lasting popularity, even after both the manga and anime have ended, is its compelling story, character development, and the depth of its characters.

Naruto’s first manga was released on September 21, 1999. Recently, the official website announced that Naruto has partnered with Google to celebrate its 25th anniversary. This celebration began on September 21, 2024, and will last until September 2025.
According to Naruto’s official website, there is an Easter egg on Google for those who search for “Naruto.” Fans quickly discovered it and shared it on social media. Essentially, you can see a 2D “Naruto run” animation when clicking on the Konoha icon.
02. BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s New Manga Releases on March 24th
BLACKPINK’s Lisa is preparing for her solo debut with the release of her album ALTER-EGO on February 28. Earlier this month, she released the single Born Again featuring Doja Cat and RAYE, marking the beginning of her solo career.

Alongside Lisa’s album, ALTER-EGO, an official comic collaboration with Zero Entertainment—led by Z2 Comics founder Josh Frankel—has been announced. The 56-page limited edition comic, inspired by ALTER-EGO, features artwork by Japanese artist MINOMIYABI.
03. Dragon Ball Daima Ends Tomorrow, on the Same Day Akira Toriyama Passed Away Last Year
As you can tell from the headline, the last episode of Dragon Ball Daima will air just one minute before the anniversary of Akira Toriyama’s passing.

One of the most heartbreaking news stories last year was the passing of Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama on March 1, 2024. Now, Dragon Ball Daima is set to conclude on February 28, 2025.
04. Animation Director for Bleach: TYBW Cour Has Been Fired
Leo Kawamoto, an animation director who had worked on Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War since the beginning, recently posted on X that he had been fired from the production. He stated that the reason was his inability to align with the studio’s workflow.

He also added, “I was fired from Bleach, so it will be hard to work on Cour 4.” Leo Kawamoto has previously worked on major anime such as One Piece, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, and Pokémon Sun & Moon.
05. The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 Airs in July 2025
The popular isekai anime The Rising of the Shield Hero is set to air its fourth season in July 2025. While the last season did not perform as well as the first two, Season 4 remains one of the most anticipated anime of 2025.

Although an exact release date has not been confirmed yet, fans can expect The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 to premiere in July 2025.
06. Fire Force Season 3 Part 1 Airs on April 4
During the IGN Fan Fest 2025 stream, a new trailer for the anime adaptation of Atsushi Ōkubo’s Fire Force revealed the official broadcast date for the upcoming third season, along with its theme song.
The news confirms that Fire Force Season 3 will begin airing on April 4. The opening theme song, titled Tsuyobi (High Heat), will be performed by Queen Bee. The third season will be released in two parts, with the second part expected to premiere sometime in early 2026.

07. New Manga from Oshi no Ko and Kaguya-sama Creator Launches on March 20th
On March 19, 2025, a new manga by Oshi no Ko’s Aka Akasaka is set to debut. The 13th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine revealed that Aka Akasaka, Aoi Kujira, and Ajichika are collaborating on a new manga titled Märchen Clown (Fairy Tale Clown), launching in the magazine’s 16th issue on March 19.

Akasaka is writing the story, Kujira is composing the series’ structure, and Ajichika, the artist of Record of Ragnarok, is handling the illustrations. Oshi no Ko, written by Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, concluded on November 14, 2024.
08. Solo Leveling x Shangri-La Frontier Official Anime Collab
Sunraku from Shangri-La Frontier and Sung Jin-Woo from Solo Leveling both use twin blades, making them a natural fit for a crossover.

With the new season of Shangri-La Frontier now airing, both anime’s official X accounts have posted a teaser featuring the tagline: “Now, the Hunt Begins.”


09. New Detective Conan Movie Releases on April 18
On Wednesday, a new trailer and visual for Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback were posted on the official Detective Conan website. This film is set to premiere exclusively in Japan on April 18, 2025.
The movie takes place in the snowy mountains of Nagano Prefecture.
Katsuya Shigehara is directing the film, while Takeharu Sakurai is writing the script.
