• Details: Landing at number 10 is Kaiju No. 8. This anime delivers solid action and impressive animation. As someone currently watching it, I can say it’s enjoyable and has a broad appeal for various anime fans. Personally, I initially anticipated it ranking a bit higher, perhaps around the 7th or 8th spot.

09. KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 3)

• Details: It’s great to see fans appreciating quality comedy! A friend recommended KonoSuba, promising it would bring the laughs, and it definitely exceeded my expectations, easily placing in my top 5 comedy anime. However, I was surprised to see it at number 9 in the current spring rankings.

08. The Misfit of Demon King Academy II Part 2 (Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e Kayou II Part 2)

• Details: Having watched all previous seasons, I personally found the second season of Misfit of Demon King Academy less engaging. However, fans worldwide still enjoy it, placing it at the 8th position in the ongoing spring lineup.

07. Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf (Ookami to Koushinryou: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf)

• Details: Spice and Wolf holds a special place as one of my favorite romance anime. While I haven’t yet watched this new adaptation, I greatly enjoyed the original series. It’s encouraging to see fans embracing this new version, placing it at number 7 in the polls. This makes me think the new adaptation is living up to the beloved original.

06. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 3rd Season)

• Details: As a huge fan of isekai anime, I believe That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, with its successful seasons and movie, deserves its popularity. I’ll be running a “Best Isekai Anime” poll on my Aniworldtv Instagram around June 15th, and I anticipate this series, along with Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2, will be strong contenders for the top 5.

05. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hashira Geiko-hen)

• Details: As anticipated, the hype for Demon Slayer remains strong. However, I was slightly surprised to see the Hashira Training Arc at the 5th position. I initially thought it would rank within the top 3, given its widespread popularity.

04. The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 (Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei 3rd Season)

• Details: While the first season of The Irregular at Magic High School was excellent and the second felt below par, I find the third season to be a noticeable improvement, justifying its place in the top 5 best ongoing anime this spring.

03. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 (Mushoku Tensei II: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu Part 2)

• Details: Mushoku Tensei is another personal favorite, and I’m pleased to see it ranking so highly at number 3 among the current seasonal anime. I have a feeling it will be considered one of the best anime to air this entire year.

02. Whisper Me a Love Song (Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau)

• Details: I was quite surprised to see this new anime in the second spot for the best ongoing spring anime. While I didn’t anticipate it reaching the top 3, it’s clear that fans are really connecting with Whisper Me a Love Song.

01. Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu 2nd Season)

• Details: This is the second season of Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy. Although its first episode aired during the winter season, it continues to run through spring. Interestingly, it wasn’t in the winter top 10, but it seems to have gained significant popularity since then, now claiming the number one spot!

There were a few anime I expected to see on this list, such as Wind Breaker, My Hero Academia (perhaps due to the movie focus?), and Black Butler, but they didn’t make the cut this season. Additionally, the highly anticipated manhwa adaptation Viral Hit and returning series like Date A Live are also absent from this top 10.
