This good news was announced on a radio program this Sunday during Aniplex’s AnimeJapan 2025 stage event for My Dress Up Darling. The good news is that the second season of My Dress-Up Darling will premiere in July.
This anime is based on Shinichi Fukuda’s (manga author) manga, My Dress Up Darling. To celebrate this news, a promotional video titled “Memories” was also released.

This anime tells the story of Wakana Gojo, a high school boy who lives with his grandfather and helps him make hina dolls. Wakana Gojo liked hina dolls when he first visited his grandfather’s home, and now he likes to make hina dolls. However, because of this, he was bullied by his old classmates. Marin is Wakana Gojo’s classmate, and she is very cheerful and open. She is never shy to ask for something, even from a complete stranger. Marin finds Wakana sewing one day after school, and discovers that he is now a part of her secret hobby of cosplay.
