First on our list is the quirky yuri manga “Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android?”
by Yakinikuteishoku (Japanese title: アンドロイドは経験人数に入りますか??, Andoroido wa Keiken Ninzū ni Hairimasu ka??). WWWave Corporation’s Deregula label has revealed that this unique series is set to receive a short television anime adaptation, with a planned premiere in 2026.
Along with the announcement came the release of some enticing key visuals, offering a first glimpse into the anime’s aesthetic. For fans of the legendary gentleman thief, Lupin III, there’s exciting news

@TMS

For fans of the legendary gentleman thief, Lupin III, there’s exciting news of a new 2D anime feature film titled Lupin the IIIrd The Movie: Fujimi no Ketsuzoku (Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: Bloodline of Immortality). The official website for the franchise recently revealed a new trailer, a striking visual, and announced two guest cast members.
The film is slated for a Japanese theatrical release on June 27, 2025. The creative team includes the familiar talents of director Takeshi Koike, scriptwriter Yūya Takahashi, and composer James Shimoji, promising the stylish action the Lupin IIIrd series is known for. Joining the returning cast are Ainosuke Kataoka as Muom and Aoi Morikawa as Salifa.
Other than Detective Conan and a few other anime, this is one of the best suspense, thriller, and adventure anime franchises. Lupin III mostly releases movies, but all the entries in this franchise are very entertaining. Watching Lupin do his work with his team, and sometimes seeing how close they come to near-death experiences, is captivating, and that’s what I love most about this anime; until the very end, I never know what’s going to happen
This “hard action” narrative centers on Lupin’s persistent pursuer, Inspector Zenigata, as the protagonist. The story kicks off with a devastating terrorist attack at an airport in the fictional “Roviet Union,” with Lupin quickly becoming the prime suspect. However, Zenigata’s investigation soon uncovers a plot that suggests the involvement of more than one Lupin.
Sakamoto Days Anime’s 2nd Part Main Trailer Reveals Opening Song, July 14 Premiere
Switching gears to a more contemporary action series, the anime adaptation of Yuuto Suzuki’s Sakamoto Days manga is gearing up for the premiere of its second part on July 14.
I became a fan of this anime after watching only two episodes, and I was also disappointed when I learned that this anime has only 12 episodes in its first season. I remember Chainsaw Man having no news after so many years since its first season’s release, but now I am happy that they are going to air this anime this year, starting from July 14th.
A main promotional video for this continuation has been released, giving fans a taste of the new opening theme song, “Method,” by the rock band Kroi. The first part of the anime premiered on TV Tokyo and affiliated channels on January 11 and is also available for streaming on Netflix.
The series has already introduced additional cast members in its 11th episode, including Yūko Kaida as Dump, Chiaki Kobayashi as Apart, Ryōta Takeuchi as Minimalist, and Kōsuke Toriumi as Saw, hinting at more exciting characters and storylines to come in the second part.
Previously announced additional cast that appeared in the anime’s 11th episode include:
- Yūko Kaida as Dump
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Apart
- Ryōta Takeuchi as Minimalist
- Kōsuke Toriumi as Saw

In a surprising and unique crossover, the worlds of anime and live-action
In a surprising and unique crossover, the worlds of anime and live-action sci-fi collide as the Bleach and Star Wars: Andor franchises have unveiled a set of collaborative visuals.
Shared on their respective Japanese X (formerly Twitter) accounts, these images share the powerful themes of “Fighting for a cause” and “Rise up with hope!” The visuals cleverly juxtapose Cassian Andor from Andor with Uryu Ishida from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War in similar poses, highlighting their shared determination.
“Before the unexpected collab of these two big anime, Solo Leveling and Shangri-La Frontier, now we have a collab between Bleach and the Star Wars: Andor franchise.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War first premiered in October 2022 in Japan and is available for streaming in the U.S. on Hulu. Fans are eagerly awaiting the fourth and final part of this adaptation, titled Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, which is expected in 2026.

Finally, for all the sports anime enthusiasts
particularly those who enjoy a good baseball story, there’s news regarding Yūji Terajima’s Ace of Diamond Act II manga. The official website for the television anime has announced that a sequel to the 2019-2020 anime, titled Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season, is set to air in 2026.
I become old while waiting for the next season of this anime, this is the anime if someone ask me what would you reffer if some one wants to watch and get knowledge about the baseball sport. One of the most inspiring anime to watch, if you are an ethelite or going throw any kind of hard ship.
This new season will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other channels, with the main cast expected to return, much to the delight of fans who have followed the Seidou High baseball team’s journey.
The original Ace of Diamond manga inspired a 75-episode anime series that premiered in 2013, followed by a 51-episode second season in 2015, both of which were streamed by Crunchyroll, building a strong fanbase for this passionate high school baseball saga.

Conclusion
That’s a wrap for this week’s anime news update! From long-awaited sequels to unexpected crossovers and fresh adaptations, the anime world continues to surprise and excite us.
Personally, the return of Ace of Diamond after so many years and the continuation of Sakamoto Days really stole the spotlight for me. Seeing new anime adaptations like Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android? and See You Tomorrow at the Food Court reminds us how even the most unique and niche manga can find their way to the screen. It’s exciting, but it also leaves fans wondering why some incredible series still haven’t gotten a second season.
And let’s not forget the epic Bleach x Star Wars: Andor collaboration—who would’ve thought we’d see two worlds like that collide? As for the ever-reliable Lupin III, it continues to deliver stylish suspense and thrilling narratives with every film. Here’s hoping Bloodline of Immortality lives up to the legacy.
