WEBTOON Entertainment announced a new original webcomic titled Secret d’une Étoile (Secret of a Ballerina), created in collaboration with the Paris Opera.
The series launches in France on November 28.
This marks WEBTOON’s first partnership between French illustrator StillUnderworld and Korean writer Honey B, introducing ballet and the Paris Opera’s artistic legacy to younger mobile readers.
The 30-episode story follows Joy, a young Korean dancer in the Paris Opera ballet corps who struggles with self-doubt. When she discovers a mysterious tiara, she is transported to 1950s Paris, living as Cécilia, a legendary prima ballerina.
Through this magical journey, Joy begins to rediscover her passion and confidence.
WEBTOON stated that the collaboration blends “two powerful forms of creative expression,” expanding the Paris Opera’s reach to digital storytelling audiences worldwide.
2. Toho Announces New Godzilla Anime Series | Anime News Update
TOHO animation surprised fans by revealing a brand-new Godzilla anime series currently in production, alongside the first piece of concept art.
This upcoming installment introduces a protagonist unlike any in the franchise’s 70-year history — a young boy with the power of Godzilla.
The official Godzilla account teased:
“Is that boy human, or Godzilla?”
The anime is a co-production between:
- Orange (Godzilla Singular Point)
- IGLOO STUDIO (My Daemon)
The title and additional details will be revealed soon.
The project was officially announced during a stage event at Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2025.
3. Fist of the North Star: Ken-Oh’s Army Grunts – New Promo Video | Anime News Update
The official website for the short anime adaptation of Hiroshi Kurao’s Fist of the North Star: Elegy of Ken-Oh’s Army Grunts (Hokuto no Ken: Ken’ō-gun Zako-tachi no Banka) released its first full promotional video.
The trailer previews both theme songs:
- Opening: “Blacker Co., Ltd.” by Itsuka
- Ending: “Elegy of the Enemies” by The Canbellz
This dark-comedy spinoff follows Nobu, a worker in Ken-Oh’s army trying to survive in a brutal post-apocalyptic job where deaths outnumber new recruits.

4. Umeda Cypher Performs New Ending Theme for Gnosia Anime | Anime News Update
Sony Music confirmed that hip-hop group Umeda Cypher performs the new ending theme “Floor Killer” for the Gnosia anime, revealed in the show’s 8th episode.
Aniplex also uploaded a creditless version of the ending sequence.
The sci-fi social deduction anime first premiered on October 11, airing on Tokyo MX, BS11, MBS, TV Aichi, AT-X, and streaming on ABEMA and d Anime Store.
Crunchyroll streams the series globally with subs and an English dub.
